In Between the Sidewalk Cracks

Joan Kelley, Director of Facilitator Development
“I discovered about a month ago that this marigold was blooming right out of the crack in my front sidewalk. I never planted marigolds this year and all along I thought it was just part of my garden that was flowing onto the sidewalk. Then I took the time to notice where the roots were growing from…in between the sidewalk cracks. God had taken the wind swept seeds from another season, a morsel of dirt, some rain drops running down the cracks and created these stunning blooms of color. I had been walking by them for many weeks until I took the time to slow down and notice God’s evident hand in it. It was a literal reminder in my day that all things are possible with God.”
